I see two sides of the story here. The look they give Thorin. It hurts so much to look at it. Thorin was practically their father, and you can only imagine how much he loved them, but he is so consumed with his quest that he doesn't care how much it hurts Kili to leave him behind. However, there is the other side that says he is simply loving Kili by making him stay behind, seeing how ill he is, and Fili is being a loyal brother and foolish youth. What do you all think? <- Exactly the same!
